It is WelshMeatDirect.com mission to deliver quality meat and meat products to the UK. As a result, we aim to deliver the best possible customer experience, and we therefore adhere to and if possible exceed, all current and proposed legislation in addition to trade body guidelines. The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights according to United Kingdom law. These include all of the current guidelines relating to the information that we hold about you, and in order to clarify this we have a published Privacy Statement.

Products
Product and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. If necessary we will substitute for an equal or higher priced item directly as the majority of our orders are time critical and we may not have time to contact you. If time is available we will attempt to contact you.
Products Size, Substitution & Prices
Special offers only available through online purchase. All weights stated are approximates. We endeavour to to cut all portions to the required size, but allow for a tollerance of 28g. Therefore a 200g portion should be in the weight range of 186-214g. It may be necessary to substitute products with those of equal or greater value. Whilst we are committed to maintaining prices, we reserve the right to amend without notice.
Delivery Zones
We are currently able to deliver goods to the majority of the UK. Some deliveries are subject to a delivery charge. Full details are shown on the deliveries page.
Payment
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo, Switch and JCB. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit Card holder, which is used to validate your order with your selected credit card company. Failure to supply the correct details will result in your order being held pending the supply of the correct details.
The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.
All prices quoted include VAT at the appropriate rate, currently 0.00% as meat is a zero rated item.
In the unlikely event that your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase with www.welshmeatdirect.com, you the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS, YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO FAX A COPY OF A CURRENT UTILITY OR BANK STATEMENT AS PROOF OF NAME AND ADDRESS.
WE ARE ONLY AUTHORISED TO SEND DELIVERIES TO THE SAME ADDRESS AS THAT REGISTERED ON THE CARD BEING USED, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN ENTERING CARD DETAILS.
WE ARE SORRY THAT WE MAY HAVE TO ASK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION, BUT FEEL THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PROTECT ALL PARTIES FROM FRAUDULENT PAYMENTS.
Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during working hours. The goods supplied are perishable. Therefore if no-one is there to accept the delivery, or a suitable place has been requested where the goods can be left, the courier will select a suitable place to leave the goods. The courier will not return the goods to the depot. We accept no liability if delivery is not accepted due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of no-one being available. It is therefore recommended that if no-one will be available, and that a suitable place is not indicated to leave the goods, that you send to a work address if possible.
We will deliver to the address as you enter it and can not accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect. We advise that if you are not sure of the address you should check it using the Post Office address finding service.
We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number, or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.
Deliveries will be made to the address that you have selected. In the event that you select a business address WelshMeatDirect.com shall be deemed to have delivered the product to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area at the business address and receiving from a duly authorised representative at the business address a signed receipt of delivery.
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver, or for any loss or liability whatsoever arising from such a failure, if we fail to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control.
Guarantee: Claims for breakages, damaged or missing goods must be made within 24 hours of their receipt. Where a valid claim is determined we shall replace the goods free of charge or offer you a full refund for the damaged goods. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
